When I make wheat berries (hard ones in my ca...Ok! When I make wheat berries (hard ones in my case), I just soak them & then cook in water at a 2 water: 1 grain ratio, like you'd cook any grain. Then I dress the wheat with a vinaigrette, and mix it with chopped vegetables of the green onion/red bell pepper/tomato/parsley variety. Feta/etc optional. Voila!
