Most of the time, I don't care about the old rule of never cooking something new for guests (errors are usually salvageable and we can always order pizza, right?), but when I was tasked with my dad's birthday pie I wanted to give it a practice run. I overbaked the crust, too, so it's a good thing I did!
Last year's cheesecake was such a huge hit, let's hope this
chocolate pudding pie is, too.
I've made that pie twice this month and it's amazing. Nothing wrong with an extra pie hanging around! Great minds my friend.
